Who manages our staff access to PLOT?
Each school has its own database that is managed at the school level. It is accessed by one person from your school who enters your staff details into the database (via the Internet). These details can be edited at any stage by the individual staff member or the school administrator. Entering staff details is a relatively simply job as the interface to the database is intuitive and can be done in bulk.
The school admin person has a special password. PLOT recognises them as having more rights to the school database so their menu structure includes administration sections. Basically they have to enter the staff first and last name into the database. It is important to delete staff who have left the school (reset their account) and replace their names with new staff so that personal journals are kept secure.
PLOT uses the latest content management system from Microsoft.
