Enhancements to PLOT

Who can reassign the school PLOT administrator role?

The school PLOT administrator can be reset by any user with Administration privileges. The newly assigned school PLOT administrator will be automatically notified by email that they will now receive all PLOT notification messages.

 

Does the school PLOT administrator need to be the first user (0001)?

No. Although this user will be selected by default, the role can now be assigned to any user.

 

How has assigning the school PLOT administrator role changed?

The school PLOT administrator can now be reset and the role assigned to any other user. When the original administrator details are reset their Personal Journal, Action Plan and rubric results are removed, but their Team or School journal entries and Action or Professional Development Plans are preserved.

How have printouts been enhanced?

The user’s name, team, school and date will now appear at the top of every rubric, Personal Development Plan, Action Learning Plan and Notes field result printout.

 

How are Action Learning Plans different?

Action Learning Plans can now be printed or exported as a text file.

 

How have journals changed?

The team name now appears as a heading on the journal instead of in the navigation. A Notes section has also been added allowing for up to two pages of text to be added. These Notes can now be printed or exported as a text file.

 

How are rubrics different?

Page links have been added to rubrics to allow direct navigation between any two pages of the rubric rather than being limited to next and back options. Note: If you don’t complete a rubric, you will need to remember the last page finished.

 

How has the Search function changed?

Now when Search results are generated, a precise link to the content is displayed in addition to the title and a description.

 

How does the Print All function work?

The school PLOT administrator can now print out a list of all users and is also able to select from a drop down menu the number of records to be displayed on each page.

 

How has team administration changed?

There is now a link called Administer Teams. Users with administrator privileges can add or remove the members of a team, change the team leader or the team name, add new teams, delete existing teams and view rubric results for a team.

 

What happens to team rubric results if team members are removed or added?

When a team member is removed from or added to a team their rubrics results are removed from or added to the overall team results.
